On 10/12/2026 at approximately 1713 hours, AST received a report of an active disturbance at a residence near Heartland Loop in Palmer. Investigation revealed Tasha Aina, age 39 of Palmer, assaulted a household member. Aina was arrested at the scene without incident. Aina was charged with Assault in the 4th Degree and three counts of Assault in the presence of a child. Aina was remanded into MSPT where she was held without bail. Alcohol was a factor.

On October 13, 2026, at approximately 1345 hours, MATCOM received a report of a domestic violence assault at a residence off Fairview Loop in Wasilla. Alaska State Troopers responded and conducted an investigation, which included interviews with all involved parties.
Following the investigation, Troopers arrested Noland Schaeffer, 50, of Wasilla, for Assault in the Fourth Degree (Domestic Violence). Schaeffer was transported to Mat-Su Pretrial (MSPT), where he was remanded and held without bail pending his initial court appearance.

On Monday, October 12, 2026, at approximately 11:43PM AST responded to multiple calls of a male yelling in the street and banging on peoples' doors. This was after a prior incident at the same location at approximately 10:39PM when AST responded and gave the male a Disorderly Conduct warning. The male was placed into custody without further incident for Disorderly Conduct.

On 10/13/2026 AST arrested, 54-year-old, Tal Baker on an active $25,000 warrant. Baker was remanded to FCC. The warrant was cleared.
