On 10/13/2026 at approximately 2215 hours, Seward AST conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle near mile 20 of the Seward Highway. Investigation revealed the driver, Kylie Bannatyne (20 YOA) of Anchorage was operating a motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol. Kylie was processed for DUI in Seward and issued a summons.

On 10/14/26, at approximately 0522 hours, Alaska State Troopers responded to a residence on Breezy Meadow Loop in Palmer for a report of a disturbance. Investigation revealed that Teyven Chya, age 18, physically assaulted a family member. Chya was arrested for Assault IV (DV) and transported to MSPT for remand.

On September 29, 2026, at 11:05 am, the Alaska State Troopers received a report of an unresponsive adult male in the Knik-Fairview area. Troopers and EMS responded and found 30-year-old Anchorage resident Alan Donaghy deceased inside a camper on a property. The State Medical Examiner's Office responded and Donaghy's remains were released to a local funeral home. Next of kin have been notified. No foul play is suspected.

On October 14, 2026, at approximately 0138 hours, Alaska State Troopers conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle at Airport and Gillam Way for speeding, which turned into a Fail To Yield. Once the vehicle stopped, the driver was contacted and later identified as Tatiana Moonin-Theile(22). Following an investigation, Tatiana was arrested and charged with DUI, Refusal and FTY, and remanded to FCC.

On 10/12/2026 at approximately 0908 hours, the Alaska State Troopers in Fairbanks received the report of a hit and run at the Sourdough Gas Station on the Farmers Loop and Steese Highway intersection. The caller reported that her vehicle was struck from a white pickup with an unidentified male driver. The male immediately fled the scene. The camera quality could not produce quality imaging to identify the license plate. This investigation is pending further leads.

On 10/14/2026, at approximately 1730 hours, Alaska State Troopers responded to a residence in North Pole for a report of a deceased individual. The deceased was identified as Elijah Vandpietersom (28). Next of kin has been notified, and the investigation remains ongoing.
