On 10/2/2026, Alaska State Troopers in Anchor Point were made aware that Ernest Geisler (66 years-old of Wasilla) had been located in the Homer area.
Geisler had an outstanding arrest warrant under 3PA-26-01751CR for the original charges of Sexual Abuse of a Minor in the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd degrees. With the assistance of the Mat-Su Valley Criminal Suppression Unit and Homer Police Department, Geisler was located at a residence in Homer and taken into custody without incident. Geisler was remanded to Homer Jail and held on $150,000 bail.

On 10/3/2026 at approximately 0209 hours, Soldotna AST received a report of a domestic disturbance after the fact in the Poppy Ridge area of Soldotna. AST responded and investigation revealed Cherelle Miller (age 26 of Soldotna) assaulted her significant other. Miller was arrested for DV Assault IV and remanded to WWPT on her charges.

Location: WillowType: Trespassing/Warrant ArrestDispatch Text:
On 10/03/2026, Alaska State Troopers were dispatched to a call of possible trespassing at a property in Willow, off of Willow-Fishhook Road. Upon arrival on scene, Troopers met with two individuals who were on site at a Gold Mining claim. One of the individuals, Ronald Pellett, was discovered to have an outstanding warrant for his arrest out of Anchorage for Failure to Appear due to DUI. Ronald was transported and Remanded to Mat-Su Pre-Trial with bail set to $5000.

On 10/03/26 at approximately 0158 hours AST responded to a call reporting a domestic disturbance at a residence in Wasilla. Investigation showed that Alexander Franklin, age 27 of Wasilla, had committed assault in the second degree, assault in the fourth degree, assault in the presence of a child, and criminal mischief in the fourth degree. Alexander was remanded to MSPT without issue, where he was held without bail.

On 10/03/2026 at approximately 0407 hours, the Alaska State Troopers observed a vehicle driving erratically near Knik-Goose Bay Road and the Parks Highway. Troopers contacted the driver, identified as Christian Sanderson, age 29 of Wasilla, and noticed signs of impairment. Christian was arrested for DUI and after he provided a BrAC over .08, was remanded at MSPT and to be released once sober. Troopers located 25 empty shooter bottles in the center console, and empty bottle in the back seat, and dozens of what appeared to be LSD tabs. The presumptive positive LSD tabs were sent to the state crime lab for testing.

On 10/02/2026 at approximately 0723 hours, Alaska State Troopers received a report of a disturbance at the Mat-Su Regional Hospital at 2500 S. Woodworth Lp. in Palmer. Matcom dispatch advised the complainant reported a patient, James M. Segerson age 49, was discharged and given directions to leave the premises and he had refused. Investigation revealed Segerson made threats of harm towards security staff and during the incident picked up sizeable rocks while in the process. Segerson was charged with Assault III and IV as well as Criminal Trespass II. Segerson was remanded to Mat-Su Pretrial without incident and held without bail.

On October 3, 2026, at approximately 2035 hours, the Alaska State Troopers responded to the area of Chena Pump for a REDDI report. Investigation revealed that Thomas Baldwin, 35YOA of North Pole, was operating under the influence. Thomas was remanded to the Fairbanks Correctional Center.

On 10/03/2026 at approximately 0924 hours Nenana and Cantwell AST responded to mile 229 Parks Highway for a report of a deceased person. Subsequent investigation determined Timothy Murphy, age 45 of Wasilla, was discovered deceased by coworkers at their seasonal camp. Timothy appeared to have passed away due to natural causes in the early morning hours of 10/02/2026. There is no evidence of foul play. His remains are being held for the State Medical Examiner's Office and his next of kind have been notified.

At approximately 0130 hours on 03 October 2026, Alaska State Troopers conducted a traffic stop at Van Horn Road and Peger Road. Investigation revealed the driver, Tal Baker, was operating her vehicle under the influence.
Baker was arrested and transported her to the Peger Road Trooper Post where she submitted to DataMaster testing and provided a breath sample containing 0.085g/210L of blood.
Baker was remanded to the Fairbanks Correctional Facility without further incident.

On 10/03/2026 at 1614 hours AST received a report of a disturbance in Healy. Investigation determined Sho Morimoto, age 41 from Healy placed a family member in fear of imminent physical injury and did so with children present. Morimoto was arrested and remanded to FCC where he was held without bail pending arraignment for Assault 4th (DV) and two counts Assault in the Presence of a Child (DV).
