    On 11/10/2024 at approximately 1434 hours, Alaska State Troopers responded to an address on Damon Avenue in Soldotna for a report of trespassing Investigation led to the arrest of James Davis, age 55 of Soldotna and Victor Davis, age 52 of Soldotna, for 1 count of Criminal Trespass I DV each. James and Victor Davis were remanded to the Wildwood Pretrial Facility and held without bail.

    Type: MIW 2, MICS 4, Promoting Contraband 1, Tampering

    On 11/08/2024 at about 1602 hours, Seward AST received a promoting contraband complainant from Spring Creek Correctional Center (SCCC). The investigation revealed that Whitney Lamont, 19 YOA of Anchorage, smuggled suboxone into SCCC. Whitney delivered the suboxone to Robert Dundas, 19 YOA of SCCC. Robert swallowed the suboxone before being detained by correctional officers. Whitney was placed under arrest for misconduct involving controlled substances (MICS) in the 4th degree and promoting contraband in the 1st degree. Whitney was transported to Wildwood Pretrial where she was remanded on the aforementioned charges without bail. Seward AST is requesting several summonses for Robert including MICS in the 4th degree, promoting contraband in the 1st degree, and tampering with physical evidence.

    On 11/09/2024, Seward AST executed multiple search warrants, including a search warrant on Whitney’s vehicle. The search of the vehicle revealed a concealable handgun in Whitney’s purse. Seward AST filed an additional charge for misconduct involving weapons (MIW) in the 2nd degree. The investigation is ongoing.

    On 11/10/2024, AST Seward conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle on S Fork Ln in Seward. The driver, identified as Ethan Lane, age 42 of Seward, was driving with a revoked license (DWLR). Additionally, Lane had two outstanding bench warrants for failure to appear on previous charges of Criminal Trespass and DWLR. Lane was arrested without incident and remanded to Spring Creek Correctional Center with a $500 bail.

    On 11/10/2024 at approximately 0810 hours, Alaska State Troopers responded to an address on Donna Marie Lane in Wasilla for a domestic disturbance. Investigation led to the arrest of William Lee, age 28 of Wasilla, for Assault II DV. Lee was remanded to the Mat-Su Pretrial Facility and held without bail.

    On 11/10/2024 at approximately 0949 hours, Alaska State Troopers responded to an address on Calder Road in Palmer for a domestic disturbance. Investigation led to the arrest of Katie Nienhaus, age 31 of Palmer, for DVPO Violation. Nienhaus was remanded to the Mat-Su Pretrial Facility and held without bail.

    Type: Fail To Stop at the Direction of a Peace Officer

    On 11/10/2024 at approximately 1119 hours, Alaska State Troopers attempted to conduct a traffic stop on a red Ford Edge on Bogard near Catalina Drive in Wasilla. The driver, Noelle Knudsen, age 32 of Wasilla, failed to stop for Troopers and a 2.5-mile pursuit ensued. The vehicle was stopped at Parks Hwy near Crusey Street with the assistance of the Wasilla Police Department. Knudsen was arrested for (misdemeanor) Fail to Stop at the Direction of a Peace Officer and remanded to the Mat-Su Pretrial Facility. She was later released on her own recognizance.

    Type: Assault 4, Resisting Arrest, Probation Violation

    Dispatch Text:

    On November 10, 2024, Deanna Aningayou (20 yoa of Gambell) was arrested for assault in the 4th degree, resisting arrest and violating her probation.  Gambell VPOs responded to a disturbance at a house in Gambell during the early morning hours. They found Aningayou intoxicated and belligerent. VPOs detained her and tried to take her into custody as she fought with them. During the struggle she kicked one of the VPOs on his shoulder, causing minor injury. Aningayou was on probation from a 2023 assault conviction with conditions prohibiting her from consuming alcohol and to obey all laws.  AST transported Aningayou to AMCC.

    On November 10, 2024, AST reviewed Secures jail phone calls at AMCC and determined Brandon R. Mike (32 yoa of Stebbins) contacted the victim in a current criminal case involving DV.  Mike called the victim repeatedly between September 2024 and November 9, 2024.  AST charged Brandon Mike with three counts of unlawful contact in the 1st degree by summons.

    On November 9, 2024, a woman in Brevig Mission called AST and reported her ex-boyfriend assaulted her at her house during the evening hours. The caller was not seriously injured, and the involved people were separated. AST will respond to Brevig Mission to investigate this case. If criminal charges are filed, and updated dispatch will be sent out.

    UPDATE 6:00 pm: The Alaska State Troopers have arrested the juvenile who placed the fuel drum in the fire. The juvenile was remanded to Division of Juvenile Justice custody. 

    This incident is still being actively investigated. Anyone who attended the party or has first-hand information and has not spoken with law enforcement is asked to contact the Alaska State Troopers at (907) 486-4121. 

    ORIGINAL: On November 10, 2024, at 1:14 am, the Alaska State Troopers were notified of a juvenile party at White Sands Beach in Kodiak. It is believed that approximately 20-40 teenagers were at the party. One of the juveniles at the party reportedly placed a 55-gallon drum of fuel in a fire at the part, causing a large explosion. Eight juveniles at the party sustained injuries due to the explosion, including five who were medevaced to Anchorage area hospitals with moderate injuries. The investigation remains active and ongoing.

    On October 20, 2024, at approximately 0216 hours, the Alaska State Troopers responded to Fairbanks Memorial Hospital for a report of a domestic violence related assault. This case is currently under investigation.
