  The Alaska State Troopers have activated the Silver Alert system due to vulnerable adult Karen Igo being reported missing from her residence in Naukati Bay today. Anyone with information about Igo's location should contact the Alaska State Troopers at 1-855-SILVR99 (1-855-745-8799).

  On 11/2/2026 at approximately 0928 hours, Alaska State Troopers responded to a domestic disturbance at a residence in Nikiski.  Investigation revealed Kyle Evan Goggia, age 39 of Nikiski, had assaulted a household member.  He was arrested for Assault 4th Domestic Violence and remanded at Wildwood Pretrial Facility.  He was held with no bail pending arraignment.

  On November 2, 2026, the Alaska State Troopers received a report about an assault that had occurred the prior week in Nikiski, AK. Investigation revealed Rylee Fifer, 20 y/o of Kenai, had committed multiple assaults to include pointing weapons at his domestic partner and strangling her. AST located Fifer at a residence near N Cohoe Loop in Kasilof. He was arrested for Assault 2, two counts of Assault 3, Assault 4, Criminal Mischief 5, and two counts of Assault in the Presence of a Child. He was remanded at Wildwood Correctional Complex where he was held without bail.

  On November 2nd, 2026, AST responded to Anthony Road for a disturbance investigation.  Christopher John was arrested for Assault in the 4th Degree (DV) and remanded to Mat-Su Pretrial to be held without bail.

  On 11/02/2026 at approximately 0630 hrs. A trooper driving eastbound on Palmer Wasilla Highway witnessed a pickup truck strike a moose on the Cottonwood Creek Bridge. Troopers investigating the crash determined the driver of the pickup was intoxicated. The driver, identified as Randy Sparks age 52 of Palmer was arrested for DUI and transported to Matsu Pretrial where he was released OR.

  On November 1, 2026, at approximately 2040 hours Alaska State Troopers in Tok responded to a request for a welfare check at a residence in Tok. Investigation resulted in the arrest of Justin West, age 35 of Tok, for two counts of Assault in the Second Degree and one count of Assault in the Fourth Degree. He was remanded to the Fairbanks Correctional Center without incident and held pending arraignment.
