On 11/15/23, Glennallen AST and VPSO’s responded to Mile 103 Old Richardson Highway after receiving a report of a domestic disturbance. It was later determined that Alece Miller (27) of Copper Center assaulted her live-in boyfriend. Miller was arrested for Assault in the Fourth degree DV and later transported to the Glennallen Trooper post pending arraignment.

On 11/15/23 at 0630 hours, AST responded to a REDDI report involving an intoxicated driver of a silver 2013 Hyundai Sonata stopped in the roadway near mile 14 of Knik Goose Bay Road in Wasilla. Investigation revealed Kyle Edmund, age 21 of Wasilla, was driving under the influence of alcohol and he was arrested for DUI.

On 11/14/23 at 1312 hours, AST responded to a residence on S. Paddy Place in Wasilla for the report of a death. William Howard, age 38 of Wasilla, was found by family members deceased in his residence. Next of kin was notified and the SME took possession of the deceased. Investigation continues.

On 11/14/23 at 0700 hours, AST responded to a residence on E. Mulchatna Drive in Wasilla for the report of a disturbance. AST contacted 39-year-old William Hopster, and 37-year-old Miryah Harmon at the residence. Hopster and Harmon both had multiple warrants for their arrest. They were remanded into custody at the MSPT facility in Palmer.

On 11/14/23 at 0900 hours, AST and EMS responded to a property on Seward Meridian Parkway in Wasilla for the report of CPR in progress on a 69-year-old male. Life-saving efforts were ultimately unsuccessful, and William Lowe was pronounced deceased. Next of kin responded and the SME released William's remains to the family.

On November 14th, 2023, at approximately 1628 hours, Alaska State Troopers responded to the area of Knik Knack Mud Shack for reports of a deceased male inside his residence. John H. Geisler, 69 YOA, was identified as the decedent. Based on the investigation, no signs of foul play are suspected. Next of kin have been notified.

On November 14, 2023, at approximately 2313 hours, AST responded to the area of Badger and Middleton for a trespass report. AST contacted Jennifer Lofrano, age 38 of Fairbanks. Jennifer is trespassed from business property at this location and is on conditions of release. Jennifer was arrested and transported to FCC on the charges of Trespass 2 and VCOR. Jennifer is being held on $250 bail.

On 11/14 and 11/15, 2023, the Fairbanks Criminal Suppression Unit began serving felony arrest warrants following indictments issued by a Fairbanks Grand Jury in reference to Child Pornography investigations from Operation Northern Exposure and Operation Theia in 2022 and 2023. These operations were conducted by Task Force Dawnbreaker, a joint child exploitation unit consisting of the Alaska State Troopers Technical Crimes Unit, HSI, and the Alaska Internet Crimes Against Children.
Edgar Compean, 21, of Ft. Wainwright, was placed under arrest for 11 counts of Possession of Child Pornography, ref. 4FA-23-02155CR. Bail was set at $3000 with no release until court approved third party custodian and/or conditions of release.
Izaya Delos-Santos, 22, of Eielson AFB, was placed under arrest for 5 counts of Possession of Child Pornography, ref. 4FA-23-02153CR. Bail was set at $5000 with no release until court approved third party custodian and/or conditions of release.
Samuel Restifo, 29, of Fairbanks, was placed under arrest for 9 counts of Possession of Child Pornography, ref. 4FA-23-02156CR. Bail was set at $1500 with no release until court approved third party custodian and/or conditions of release.
All subjects were remanded to FCC without incident.

On 11/14/2023 at approximately 1500 hours, the Fairbanks Area Narcotics Team (FANT) and the Fairbanks Criminal Suppression Unit (FCSU) contacted Savannah Harding, 27, of Fairbanks near 16th Ave. and S. Cushman St. Harding had an outstanding $5000 felony arrest warrant for Failure to Appear for Arraignment on 2 counts of Theft 2nd Degree (ref. 4FA-23-00486CR.) Harding was placed under arrest and transported to the Fairbanks Correctional Center without incident.

On November 1st, 2023, at approximately 3:13 PM, the Alaska State Troopers received a call stating that Robert Sosa, 62, of Fairbanks violated a Domestic Violence Protective Order. Investigation revealed that Robert violated the protective order by indirectly contacting the petitioner. AST was unable to contact Robert and the charges were referred to the District Attorney's Office.
