On 12/10/24 at 1240 hours, Alaska State Troopers contacted Dee Wayne Enloe, age 40 of Nikiski, at a residence off Island Lake Rd. in Nikiski. Investigation revealed Enloe had an outstanding warrant for Failure to Schedule remand with Wildwood with an original charge of DUI. Enloe was arrested and remanded at Wildwood pretrial with 20 days to serve.

On 12/10/2024 at approximately 2105 hours Alaska State Troopers received a report that a vehicle struck a power pole on Settlers Bay Drive in Wasilla. Investigation revealed the driver Daniel Kane, 23 of Wasilla, was intoxicated. Daniel was remanded to Mat-Su Pretrial for DUI. Bail was set at OR.

On 12/10/2024 at 1800 hours, Alaska State Troopers received the report of a REDDI in the area of Church Road in Wasilla. Investigation revealed, Amanda Renhard 39 YOA was driving while intoxicated and resulted in her driving into the ditch. Amanda was transported to Mat-Su Pretrial where she was held on $500 bail.

On 12/11/2024 at approximately 0600 hours, Alaska State Troopers arrested Timothy Ritala, age 26 of Wasilla, at the Speedway gas station on Palmer Wasilla Hwy near Seward Meridian Pkwy. Ritala had an arrest warrant for MIW II and Criminal Mischief III. Ritala was remanded without incident to the Mat-Su Pretrial Facility and held on $500 bail.

On December 11, 2024, AST completed an investigation into a sexual assault that occurred in Saint Michael on September 2, 2024. Carl Anatole Christo Mike (29 yoa of Stebbins) was arrested for two counts of sexual assault in the 2nd degree for sexual contact with female victim in Saint Michael between August 30, 2024, and September 2, 2024. AST transported Mike to AMCC in Nome.

On 12-11-24 at approximately 1141 hours, the Alaska State Troopers received a report of a motor vehicle collision at the intersection of the Steese Hwy and Old Steese Hwy. Investigation revealed that a vehicle driven by Sangrok Lee, age 37 of California, pulled out in front of another vehicle driven by Andrew Goslin, age 40 of Fairbanks. There was no injuries reported and all occupants were wearing their seat belts.

On December 11, 2024, at approximately 0730 hours, an Alaska Wildlife Trooper witnessed a two-vehicle accident at the intersection of Knik Goose Bay Road and Palmer Wasilla Highway. One of the vehicles involved did not attempt to stop and continued driving away. Troopers quickly stopped the vehicle and identified the operator as Thomas Parkhurst. A field sobriety test was performed on Thomas and subsequently he was arrested for OUIL. None of the occupants were injured from the accident.

On November 19, 2024, the Alaska State troopers were notified of alleged child sexual abuse that occurred on the Kenai Peninsula. The Alaska Bureau of Investigation’s Soldotna Major Crimes Unit began investigating the allegations. Through their investigation they determined that 38-year-old Kasilof resident Blake Distler had made sexual contact or offensive physical contact with at least five female teenagers. On December 10, 2024, Troopers arrested Distler on charges of Sexual Abuse of a Minor in the Second Degree, Sexual Abuse of a Minor in the Third Degree, Harassment in the First Degree, and Harassment in the Second Degree. He was remanded to Wildwood Pretrial Facility.
