On 02/03/2025, Court Services Officers assigned to Palmer Judicial Services arrested Liberty Lee, age 18 from Wasilla. Lee had an active warrant for her arrest on the charge of Assault in the Fourth Degree. Lee was remanded to Mat Su Pretrial with bail set at $250 Cash Performance.

On 2/3/2025 at approximately 0148 hours, AST received a report of a domestic dispute off the Parks highway near Houston. Investigation revealed that Glenn Elliott, 62 YOA, had assaulted a household member and damaged a household member's property. Glenn was arrested and transported to MSPT, where he was remanded and held without bail.

On February 1, 2025, at 11:30 a.m., Alaska State Troopers in Bethel received a report of a house fire in Atmautluak. Initial investigation revealed that members of the household had left the residence earlier that morning when 34-year-old Jonathan Mojin began making threats and destroying property inside the residence. The structure later became engulfed in flames. Mojin was arrested on charges of assault IV and assault in the presence of a child. The circumstances surrounding the fire are suspicious and the State Fire Marshal’s Office is assisting in the investigation.

On February 3rd, 2025, at approximately 0129 hours, Fairbanks AST conducted a traffic stop at South Cushman Street and 23rd Ave. Troopers observed drug paraphernalia in plain view. During a search of the vehicle, troopers located a white crystalline substance and a white powdery substance suspected to be methamphetamine and fentanyl powder respectively. The driver was identified as Jessica Simmons and charges for misconduct involving a controlled substance are pending.

On February 03, 2025, at approximately 0509 hours, AST received a report of an intoxicated person in the area of Hurst Rd. Investigation revealed that Brandon Guidry, age 25 of North Pole, assaulted a family member. Brandon was arrested for Assault in the Fourth Degree and transported to FCC.

On 02/03/2025 at approximately 0942 hours a Trooper recognized a vehicle associated with Robin Grant, who had three warrants out for his arrest. Additionally, the vehicle committed a moving violation and registration violation. A traffic stop was conducted, and Grant was arrested without incident. The female passenger was identified as Maidea John. John was arrested on two warrants. Grant and John were transported to FCC for remand.

On February 2nd 20245, at about 0813 hours, Troopers conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle for an equipment violation. Upon further investigation, Trooper seized a gravity knife and drug paraphernalia from the drivers vehicle. the driver, Steven Luten, was arrested for MICS 4, DWLR, and a Parole Violation. Steven was transported to FCC without incident.

On 02/01/2025, at approximately 1830 hours, Fairbanks AST dispatch received a report of 2 snowmachiners that were stranded off the Steese Highway without equipment to spend the night. A Fairbanks AWT Trooper responded, and assisted in transporting 3 snowmachiners back to their vehicle on the Steese Highway.

On February 1, 2025, at 1:25pm, Alaska State Troopers in Selawik received a report of a deceased person at a residence in Selawik. Troopers responded to the residence and located Nettie Ballot, age 37 of Selawik, deceased. Initial investigation at the scene determined the death to be suspicious. The body is being transported to the State Medical Examiner's Office in Anchorage for autopsy and determination of the cause of death. A person of interest has been identified and is being held on unrelated outstanding warrants. Next of kin has been notified. The investigation continues.
