  On 4/6/2026, Alaska State Troopers in Anchor Point received a report of a someone stealing a fuel jug from private property in Nikolaevsk. Subsequent investigation led to the arrest of Neal Reutov for Theft in the 4th degree. Reutov was remanded to Homer Jail.

  On 04/05/2026 at approximately 2252 hours, AST responded to a residence near Stanley Rd for a report of a disturbance. The following investigation revealed that Kenneth Thomas, 26 YOA, had placed a household member in fear of injury and damaged approximately $250.00 worth of property. Kenneth was arrested without incident and transported to MSPT, where he was remanded and held without bail.

  On 4/06/2026 at approximately 1425 hours, AST received a report of a Disturbance at a residence on Karen Ave. in Houston. Investigation revealed Cisidra Schuster, age 21 of Houston, assaulted a household member. Schuster was arrested at the scene without incident and charged with Assault 4th DV. She was remanded into MSPT where she was held without bail.

  On 04/06/2026 at approximately 0906 hours, AST received a report of a two-vehicle collision with unknown injuries at Trunk Rd and Old Trunk Road intersection. Investigation revealed Neva Ulak, age 44 of Wasilla, was driving her blue 2016 Ford Explore southbound on Trunk Rd at Old Trunk Rd with her passenger. Neva turned right on to Old Trunk Rd and negotiated a U-turn to go northbound on Trunk Rd. Neva failed to yield to the other vehicle traveling southbound and crossed in front of it causing a T-bone collision. The other vehicle was a black 2025 GMC Sierra driven by Jennylee Anderson, age 45 of Wasilla. Further investigation revealed that Neva was under the influence of alcohol at the time of the collision. Neva failed the SFST’s and was arrested for DUI. Neva was transported to Palmer AST Post for Datamaster. Neva provided a sample of her breath for the Datamaster with a result of .116 BrAC. Neva was remanded to MSPT for DUI. No one was injured during the collision. Both vehicles were towed from the scene.

  Advisory Text:

  Update: Thank you for your patience. The vehicle has been removed, and the highway has been reopened. Please continue to travel safely. Original: The Parks Highway is closed in both directions at mile 240 (just south of Healy) due to a commercial vehicle rollover blocking both lanes of travel. The closure is expected to last several hours. Motorists should seek alternate routes and avoid the area.

Alavisi was remanded to the Anchorage Correctional Complex East with bail set at $100 cash bond.
