On June 14, 2025, Alaska State Troopers received a report that Jamin Miller, 43, had sexually abused multiple juvenile females. Miller was reported to be armed inside an Anchor Point shed. Troopers and Wildlife Troopers responded to the area along with units from Alaska State Parks. Miller was remanded to Wildwood Pretrial Facility on charges of first- and second-degree sexual abuse of a minor and incest.

On 6/16/25 at 1845 hours, Troopers stopped a vehicle at a local Anchor Point business after observing Valerie McDole, 37 of Anchor Point, driving the vehicle on the Sterling Highway and knowing she did not have a valid license. McDole's license was confirmed to be in revoked status and she was given a summons to appear and released.

On 06/16/2025 at approximately 0153 hours, Alaska State Troopers conducted a traffic stop on Pittman Road near Scatters Way for an equipment violation. Investigation revealed the passenger, James Posey age 46 of Wasilla had an outstanding felony arrest warrant issued 8/2007 for violating his parole on the original charge of Misconduct Involving Controlled Substances in the 3rd. Posey was arrested and remanded at Matsu Pretrial where he was held without bail.

On June 16, 2025, Alaska State Troopers in Fairbanks were notified of a suspicious person at an abandoned residence in North Pole. Trooper Weeks responded and contacted Edwin Hanson as he was taking items from the property. Investigation revealed that Hanson entered the residence with the intent to steal property. He was subsequently arrested and remanded to the Fairbanks Correctional Center.

On 06/12/25, the Alaska State Troopers received a report of a vehicle theft from a storage unit on Old Richardson Highway. Investigation showed Corbin Jones, age 22, of Fairbanks, stole a four-wheeler. Charges are being forwarded to the District Attorney's Office.

On June 15, 2025, Alaska State Troopers in Tok responded to a campground along the Taylor Highway for a report that a couple had been found deceased in their camp trailer after not being seen for several days. There were no apparent signs of foul play observed, and cause of death is believed to be accidental. The bodies were sent to the State Medical Examiner's Office for autopsy. Next of kin has been notified.

On 06/16/2025 the Alaska State Troopers in Fairbanks stopped a vehicle on Chena Hot Springs Road for traveling 81MPH in a 55 MPH zone. AST investigation revealed that the operator, Anthony Martin (40) of Fairbanks was diving under the influence of an intoxicating liquor. Martin was arrested and remanded at FCC for DUI, MIW, and endangering the welfare of a child.
