On June 21, 2025, at 3:30pm, Alaska State Troopers received a report of hiker who fell over 100 feet off the Salmon Creek Trail in Juneau. Investigation revealed William Milks, age 64, of Juneau, was on a group hike. Witnesses reported Milks accidently tripped, lost his footing, and fell off the side of the trail. Juneau Mountain Rescue personnel responded and were able to repel down to Milks’ location. Milks subsequently died as a result of the fall. The body is being sent to the State Medical Examiner's Office in Anchorage for autopsy. NOK was on scene and notified of Milks’ death.

On 6/22/2025 at approximately 0400 hours Troopers responded to Big Lake for a disturbance. Investigation revealed Robert Wheeler had pointed a gun at and assaulted a household member. Robert was placed under arrest for Assault in the 2nd degree, 2 counts of Assault in the 3rd Degree, Assault in the 4th degree, and Misconduct Involving Weapons in the 4th degree. He was transported to Mat-Su Regional. He was held with no bail.

On June 17, 2024, Alaska State Troopers received a report of fraud and theft. AST was provided information showing that Isabella Hernandez-Patino had issued up to 20 checks from another person's bank to herself totaling $14,596 spanning from February through June of this year. The victim's signature was forged on all 20 checks. Investigation also showed that Isabella had fraudulently used the same person's credit card and charged up to $1,915.01 to the bank account. Isabella also used the credit card to purchase a firearm for $500.00. Isabella was arrested and remanded to FCC for 2 counts of fraud and 2 counts of theft in the second degree.

On 06/22/2025 at approximately 0157 hours, Alaska State Troopers responded to a 911 phone call reporting that Quincy Wisner had become angry and started throwing the complainant's items into the yard and then went into the garage. Troopers responded, and an investigation revealed that Wisner had committed an assault, punched a hole in the drywall, and thrown the victim's belongings into the yard. There was a child present in the home when this occurred, and Wisner was arrested and charged with Assault 4, Criminal Mischief 5, and Assault in the presence of a Child.

On May 24, 2025, at approximately 2226 hours, AST receive the report of a disturbance in Fort Yukon. The case has been sent to the District Attorney Office for review for charges of criminal mischief in the fifth degree on 28-year-old Mariah Peter.

On 06/21/2025 at approximately 0815 hours, AST responded ta medical assist with CPR in progress near mile 238 Parks Hwy. EMS was dispatch to a local hotel where a guest was found non-responsive in his hotel room. C C Johnson, age 75 of Louisiana, was pronounced dead on scene. Due to medical history C C's death was determined to be from natural causes. His Next of Kin has been notified.
