On 6/10/2024, Prince of Wales State Troopers seized over 850 fentanyl laced pills, methamphetamine and fentanyl powder during the execution of a search warrant. On 7/12/2024, 30-year-old Kasaan resident Felysha Savage was arrested after a grand jury indicted her on Misconduct Involving a Controlled Substance II, III and V. Savage was remanded to the Craig Jail on a $20,000 arrest warrant.

On 07/03/24 at approximately 00:34 hours, Alaska State Troopers received a report of a person who had fallen out of the boat on the Yukon river approximately 14-20 miles north of Emmonak. Two boats of SAR responded to the area and located the person lying on the bank of the Yukon suffering from hypothermia. Treated at the Emmonak clinic, no serious injuries.

Ezra Gibson, 38 years old of Minto, was contacted as a result of the assault investigation. Ezra was found to be under the influence of alcohol while operating a motor vehicle. Ezra was arrested and later provided a Datamaster sample of .173 BrAC. Ezra was remanded to the Fairbanks Correctional Center.

On July 7, 2024 Alaska State Troopers received a welfare check request on a Tok area resident. Subsequent investigation resulted in an arrest warrant (4TO-24-00063CR) being issued for Trevor Joe, age 28 of Tok, for four counts of Assault in the Third Degree against two people. On July 12, 2024 at about 2:00 PM, Alaska State Troopers arrested Joe in Tok on his warrant with the assistance of the Northern SWAT team. Joe was remanded to Fairbanks Correctional Center and held on $50,000 bail as set in his warrant by the court.
Northern SWAT is a multi-jurisdictional team with members from the Alaska State Troopers, Fairbanks Police Department, Fairbanks International Airport Police Department, North Slope Borough Police Department, the University of Alaska Fairbanks Police Department, and a Department of Fire and Life Safety Fire Marshal.
