    On 07/31/2024 at 2213 hours Soldotna dispatch received a report of a vehicle driving erratically and swerving across the center line. Troopers located and initiated a traffic stop on the vehicle at the cross streets of Linwood and Katakun Street in Kenai. The driver and single occupant of the vehicle was identified by Alaska driver's license as 35 year old Kenai resident Gerrica Ann Moore. Upon further investigation, Moore was arrested and remanded to Wildwood on the charge of DUI.

    On 7/31/24 at 2017 hours, Troopers stopped a vehicle on East End Road near Kachemak Drive for an equipment violation. The driver was identified as Mark Donithan, 22 of Wasilla. A records check showed Donithan was driving with a revoked license and had three warrants for his arrest. Donithan was also found to be on conditions of release in a previous criminal case and was in violation of those conditions. Donithan was arrested and remanded into the Homer Jail where his bail was set at $1250.

    On 8/1/2024 at approximately 2026 hours AST received a REDDI report of a vehicle stopped in the lane of travel at Wasilla Fishhook Road and Seldon Road. Investigation revealed Dunovan Trout, 51, was intoxicated and had an open container of alcohol in the vehicle. Dunovan was arrested and charged with DUI and Open Container. He was transported to Matsu Pretrial and bail was set at $1000.

    On July 31st, 2024, at approximately 2107 hours, the Alaska State Troopers responded to a robbery at the Seward Meridian Park & Ride. Investigation revealed a 44-year-old male was struck in the face with a rock while sleeping, and had several items stolen from his possession. AST interviewed several individuals nearby and was unable to determine a suspect. The investigation is currently ongoing. If you have any information, please contact MATCOM at (907)352-5401.

    On 8/1/2024 at approximately 1000 hours, Palmer Judicial Services remanded Brice Castro, 32, of Eagle River for an outstanding arrest warrant. The warrant was for Violating Conditions of Release for a Felony with bail set at $250 cash performance. Castro was remanded on the warrant while in custody at the Goose Creek Correctional Center for unrelated charges.

    Dispatch Text:

    On July 31, 2024, at approximately 2253 hours, Alaska State Troopers conducted a traffic stop on a blue pickup truck driving in the wrong lane on Peger Road. The vehicle failed to stop after the Trooper activated his emergency lights and siren and continued down Van Horn Road, where it eventually stopped. The driver, identified as Adam Green, had been involved in a disturbance at the Tanana Valley Fair just prior to the traffic stop. Further investigation led to Adam's arrest on the charges of assault in the 4th degree, attempted vehicle theft in the 2nd degree, failure to stop at the direction of a peace officer in the 2nd degree, driving under the influence, and 4 counts of misconduct involving weapons in the 4th degree. Adam was remanded to Fairbanks Correctional Center without incident.

    On July 31, 2024, at approximately 1913 hours, AST received the report of a disturbance in Birch Creek. Investigation resulted in 42-year-old Rhonda Baker being arrested and remanded to Fairbanks Correctional Center for Assault in the Fourth Degree and Criminal Mischief in the Fifth Degree.

    On July 30, 2024 at about 5:35 AM, Alaska State Troopers in Tok received a report of a disturbance in Mentasta. Subsequent investigation resulted in an arrest warrant request being submitted for Carson John, a 52 year old male resident of Mentasta, for Assault 3 x 2, Misconduct Involving Weapons 4 and Assault 4 x 3.

Investigation revealed that Asher failed to record his harvest on his permit. Asher was issued a citation for failing to record personal use fish on his permit as required.
