  On 09/30/2026 at approximately 1542 hours AST Ketchikan responded to a residence in the area of Bear Clan Street for a report of a disturbance between Daryle James and Paula Guthrie. Upon arrival AST interviewed all parties on scene and investigation revealed that Paula Guthrie, 55 years old of Ketchikan, had committed the crimes of Assault in the 4th degree domestic violence and assault in the presence of a child, she was arrested and remanded to Ketchikan Correctional Center and held on no bail.

  On September 29, 2026, at 10:23 am, 59-year-old Ketchikan resident Alan Medlin was found deceased in his Ketchikan residence by coworkers, after he failed to call in sick or show up for work. Troopers responded. No foul play is suspected. Medlin's body was released to the local mortuary. Next of kin have been notified.

  On September 29, 2026, at 1:50 am, the Alaska State Troopers responded to Wasilla Fishhook Road near Pamala Drive for a motorcycle collision with serious injuries. Investigation determined 28-year-old Wasilla resident Colton Cline was operating a 2021 Suzuki motorcycle at a high rate of speed, northbound on Wasilla Fishhook with an adult male passenger, when he lost control entering a corner. The motorcycle and Cline struck multiple guardrail supports. His passenger was thrown clear of the impact and sustained minor injuries. Cline sustained extensive injuries and was pronounced deceased upon arrival at a local area hospital. Helmets were worn by both riders. Alcohol is not believed to be a factor, but speed and road conditions were. Next of kin have been notified and the investigation is ongoing.

  Type: DV Criminal Mischief and False Information

  Dispatch Text:

  On 9/30/2026 at 11:49 hours, Alaska State Troopers were dispatched to a domestic disturbance in Fairbanks. Taya McGraw, 41 of Fairbanks, falsely reported an assault with a weapon and damaged a television valued at $350. Taya was arrested for DV criminal mischief 4 and false report/information and transported to Fairbanks Correctional Center.
