Since 2019, the Kodiak High Intensity Drug Trafficking Area Task Force (HIDTA) began conducting multiple investigations involving local known individuals suspected to be trafficking and selling narcotics in Kodiak. During this time, various quantities of methamphetamine and heroin were seized through various operations conducted in Kodiak.
On June 2nd through June 4th 2020, as a result of the above investigations, the Kodiak HIDTA Task Force with the help of members from the Anchorage Airport Interdiction Team (AAIT), Kodiak Police Department, Alaska State Troopers and United States Coast Guard, executed multiple search warrants at different locations in Kodiak and arrested the following individuals under investigation for selling narcotics in Kodiak.
Roberto Trujillo-Tolentino, 41 yoa of Kodiak was arrested and remanded to the Kodiak Jail for felony Misconduct Involving a Controlled Substance in the Second Degree and Violating Conditions of Release.
Donna Ford-Roberts, 31 yoa of Kodiak was arrested and remanded to the Kodiak Jail on three counts of felony Misconduct Involving a Controlled Substance in the Second Degree and one count of felony Misconduct Involving a Controlled Substance in the Third Degree.
Jacob Macomber, 31 yoa of Kodiak was arrested and remanded to the Kodiak Jail on two felony counts of Misconduct Involving a Controlled Substance in the Second Degree and two counts of felony Misconduct Involving a Controlled Substance in the Fourth Degree.
Christopher Peters, 24 yoa of Kodiak was arrested and remanded to the Kodiak Jail for felony Misconduct Involving a Controlled Substance in the Second Degree, felony Misconduct Involving a Controlled Substance in the Fourth Degree and Violating Conditions of Release.
Edwar Orlando Guerra Corea, 50 yoa of Kodiak was arrested and remanded to the Kodiak Jail for felony Misconduct Involving a Controlled Substance in the Third Degree.
Lennon Cole, 36 yoa of Kodiak was arrested and remanded to the Kodiak Jail for felony Misconduct Involving a Controlled Substance in the Third Degree.
Robert Duncan, 35 yoa of Kodiak was charged with Violating Conditions of Release involving the possession of controlled substances.
On 6/5/20, Roberto Trujillo-Tolentino, Donna Ford-Roberts, Jacob Macomber, Christopher Peters, Edwar Corea and Lennon Cole were arraigned by the Kodiak court. Each individual was held in custody on bail, except for Lennon Cole (convicted felon for Misconduct Involving a Controlled Substance) who was released on Conditions of Release per the Kodiak court after his arraignment.
The Kodiak HIDTA Task Force is comprised of law enforcement officers from the Alaska State Troopers, the Kodiak Police Department and the United States Coast Guard Special Investigative Services.
