The Fairbanks and North Pole area received several inches of snow last night and it is still falling. Road conditions are significantly deteriorating. Due to the weather and road conditions, the Fairbanks Post is closed. Please only traverse the roads if absolutely necessary; stay home if possible. If you must drive, please do so with extreme caution; use your headlights, brush all of the snow off of your vehicle, give yourself extra time to reach your destination, and leave distance between you and the car in front of you.
