On 06/27/2020 at approximately 1900 hours, Alaska State Troopers received a report of a flipped canoe and a body in the water on Dimond Lake in the Big Lake area. Investigation revealed Arthur Analoak, age 30 of Fairbanks, flipped his canoe for an unknown reasons and drowned in the lake. It was reported that Analoak was not wearing a PFD. On 06/28/2020, Mat-Su Dive Team, with the assistance of the Alaska State and Wildlife Troopers, recovered Analoak's body from the lake. The body will be sent to the State Medical Examiner's Office for an autopsy. There is no foul play suspected at this time. Next of Kin has been notified.
