On 07-15-2020 at approximately 0904 hours, Aniak AST received a call for a welfare check on a female who left a voicemail on the McGrath City cell phone sometime after 1630 hours on 07-14-2020. The voice message was a female voice, which sounded like they were sobbing, requesting help and someone to come to a residence in McGrath. Shortly after the call for the welfare check, Aniak AST received another call stating a female was found in the middle of the road and appeared to have been beaten up. Aniak AST responded to McGrath and during the investigation contacted Justice MacAlpine (25), of McGrath. Upon completion of the investigation, MacAlpine was arrested for Domestic Violence Assault in the Second degree, Assault in the Third degree and Assault in the Fourth degree. MacAlpine was transported and remanded at YKCC in Bethel. The female was medevac'd to ANMC for additional medical treatment.
