On 05/06/2022 at approximately 2219 hours, Troopers attempted to stop a vehicle for running a red light at Johansen Expy./Danby St. The driver failed to yield to Troopers for approximately 1.5 miles before stopping. The driver was identified as James Itta Jr., 50, of Fairbanks. Itta had two outstanding "No Bail" City of Anchorage warrants and was remanded to the Fairbanks Correctional Center for Failure to Stop at Direction of Peace Officer.
