On 5/8/2022, at approximately 1132 hours, the Alaska State Troopers contacted Austin James, age 24 of Fairbanks, on the Richardson Hwy in North Pole, AK. James was reportedly trespassing on a property and attempted to walk into a residence. James was uncooperative with AST when contacted and resisted arrest. James was subsequently arrested and remanded at Fairbanks Correctional Center on 1 count of Criminal Trespass, 1 count of Assault on a Peace Officer, 1 count of Resisting Arrest, 1 count of VCOR, 1 count of MICS 5, and 1 count of Promoting Contraband.
