On 05/12/2022 at approximately 1629 hours, Alaska State Troopers responded to a residence near Knik Goose Bay and Aurora Drive in Wasilla for a disturbance. Investigation revealed that Christian Short, age 23 of Wasilla, had assaulted a family member recklessly causing physical injury. Christian was arrested for Assault in the 4th degree – DV, and was transported to Mat-Su Pretrial where he was held without bail.
