On 6/17/2022 at approximately 2219, Alaska State Troopers received a report of DV Assault from the Larsen Bay VPSO. The VPSOs arrested Illa Bircher, 43 y/o of Larsen Bay for DV Assault 4 and Escape 4 after assaulting a family member and continually resisting VPSO efforts to get her into custody. Troopers flew to Larsen Bay on 6/18/2022 and transported Illa back to Kodiak and remanded her to Kodiak Jail.
