On 06/19/2022 at approximately 2303 hours, Alaska State Troopers conducted a traffic stop on a GMC Yukon which was eastbound on Palmer Wasilla Highway near 49th State Street for speeding. Investigation revealed the driver and sole occupant, George Goldy age 44 of Anchorage, was operating a motor vehicle after consuming alcohol. Goldy was arrested and processed for DUI before being released to a sober adult on his own recognizance.
