On August 4, 2023, at 10:10 pm,  Alaska State Troopers were notified of a multiple motorcycle collision at Mile 316 Parks Hwy. Multiple first responder agencies including AST, VPSO, BLM,  Forestry, and Nenana EMS responded to the area. Life saving measures were unsuccessful and Jadakis Perry, age 21 of Eielson Air Force Base, died on scene. Preliminary investigation showed Jadakis was traveling at a high rate of speed and lost control. Two other motorcycle riders attempted to avoid a collision both losing control and crashing. The other two were transported to a Fairbanks area hospital for treatment of their injuries. Jadakis’s body is being transported to the State Medical Examiner’s office for an Autopsy. Next of kin have been notified.
