Alaska Wildlife Troopers and the Washington Department of Fish and Wildlife conducted a joint residency investigation on Eric Johnson, 35 YOA of Bow, WA. The investigation revealed that Johnson obtained resident sport fishing licenses in Washington in 2022, as well as an Alaska Resident Sport Fish/Hunting license in Alaska. Additionally, he had taken a Dall sheep in 2022, and purchased a 2024 Alaska resident hunting license without meeting residence requirements. Johnson was charged with two counts of Making a False Statement on a License Application and Take of Dall sheep without a guide or resident within second-degree of kindred.
