On 9/9/24  at approx. 2049 hours, AST and Willow EMS/ Fire and Rescue responded to a single vehicle accident near mile post 73 of the Parks Highway in Willow. Investigation revealed that Brandon Tyler Foster (Age 40 of Talkeetna) was traveling north on the Parks Highway when he lost control of his vehicle, a 2001 Ford  F350, slid into a ditch and rolled prior to coming to a stop. Foster was not wearing his seat belt and was thrown from the vehicle. The passenger in the vehicle was wearing their seatbelt and treated for minor injuries. Foster was transported from the scene by Life-Flight to Providence Hospital in Anchorage. Foster succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced deceased at Providence Hospital. Next of kin has been notified. The Alaska State Medical Examiners Office responded to the Providence Hospital for further investigation. Investigation Continues
