On March 19 2025, at approximately 0715 hours, Alaska State Troopers responded to 3679 College Rd. following a report made to 911 by a Speedway Express employee that a man was passed out on the floor of the gas station and employees were unable to wake him. Upon arrival, Carmen McCarty was found, asleep inside of the gas station. A records check showed Carmen had been trespassed from that location. Carmen was arrested and remanded to FCC for Criminal trespass in the second degree.
