On August 8, 2026, at approximately 1426 hours, the MAT-SU Criminal Suppression Unit (CSU) responded to a residence in Palmer in an attempt to locate William Paterson, who has an outstanding warrant for his arrest. During the contact at the residence, CSU contacted Sabreena Brewer, age 31, of Wasilla. Brewer was subsequently arrested for her involvement in a storage unit burglary and the theft of multiple firearms that occurred in December 2025. She was transported to and remanded at Palmer Pretrial on charges of Burglary in the Second Degree and thirteen counts of Theft in the Second Degree. Paterson has been identified as an accomplice in the incident. The Alaska State Troopers request that anyone with information regarding Paterson’s whereabouts contact AST.
