On 5/16/2026, while conducting a proactive bear bait patrol within GMU 14A, AWT located 24-year-old, Wasilla resident, Max Halter’s registered bait site. Investigation revealed Max was using salmon fillets and grouse breasts as bait. Max was issued a mandatory court appearance with the Palmer Court.
