On 05-26-26, Troopers assigned to the Highway Interdiction Team and Palmer Patrol K9 Unit, contacted Miranda Farrell, age 29, of Wasilla on a traffic stop.  During the contact the Toyota sedan she was driving was seized for a drug investigation.  A later search of the sedan was conducted, and Troopers located 7.34 grams of fentanyl and 3.41 grams of methamphetamine.  Further items associated with the sale of controlled substances were also located.  On 07-23-26, Miranda was contacted during a search warrant for her residence on Balsam Cir.  Miranda was ultimately placed under arrest for misconduct involving a controlled substance in the second and third degree.  Miranda was transported and remanded to Mat-Su Pretrial where she was held pending arraignment.
