On 05-28-26, at 1716 hours, Troopers assigned to the highway interdiction team contacted Kristena Bannon, age 42, of Wasilla as the operator of Volkswagen sedan for multiple traffic infractions. Investigation revealed Bannon was in possession of fentanyl and heroin. Bannon was also on conditions of release for a prior case and she was violations of the court imposed conditions. Bannon was arrested for MICS 5 x2 and VCOR. Bannon was remanded to Mat-Su Pretrial and held pending arraignment.
