On July 5, 2026, at approximately 10:38 p.m., Alaska State Troopers conducted a traffic stop on Badger Road after observing a vehicle traveling 63 mph in a 40-mph zone. The driver, identified as S.D. (06/14/2009), displayed signs of impairment and later provided a Datamaster breath sample of 0.098. A DAB pen and DAB bong were located during the investigation. S.D. was arrested for Driving Under the Influence and Misconduct Involving a Controlled Substance in the Sixth Degree and was released to a parent following processing.
