On July 11, 2026, at 6:21 pm, Alaska State Troopers received a 911 report of a domestic violence incident at a residence in Wasilla. The caller reported that Cecil Nelson, age 57, of Wasilla, entered the residence without permission, assaulted the caller, and refused to leave. Nelson was reportedly intoxicated and fled prior to troopers’ arrival.
