On 08-20-26, at 1446 hours, Troopers assigned to the Highway Interdiction Team conducted a traffic stop on a blue Toyota Sedan for multiple seat belt violations just off the Palmer Wasilla Hwy and Knik Goose Bay Rd.  The driver was identified as Jesse J. Odell, age 28, of Wasilla after providing a false name.  Jesse was determined to have an active warrant for his arrest for failing to comply with conditions of probation stemming from a burglary 2nd conviction.  A rear seat passenger was identified as Samuel Paliko, age 64, of Wasilla who was drinking from an open container of an alcoholic beverage.  Samuel was found to have an active warrant for his arrest for failing to appear in court for a change of plea hearing stemming from the original charge of vehicle theft in the 1st.  Both Jesse and Samuel were arrested for their warrants.  Inside the vehicle, Troopers located methamphetamine and a debit card belonging to another person.  Jesse and Samuel were remanded to Mat-Su Pretrial where Jesse was held on $1500 cash bail and Samuel was held on $750 cash bail.  Investigation into the other items is pending.
