On 10/17/2026 at approximately 0102 hours, the Alaska State Troopers observed a silver 2018 Ford F150 speeding southbound on the Parks Highway near Swanson Avenue in Wasilla. Troopers initiated a traffic stop and the vehicle failed to stop, leading Troopers on a pursuit exceeding 100mph. The vehicle’s tires were successfully spiked on the Parks Highway prior to the Trunk Road off-ramp and came to a stop. The driver, identified as Lincoln Wood, age 18 of Anchorage, was arrested for Fail to Stop 1, DUI, Refusal to Submit to Chemical Testing, Minor Operating While Consuming Alcohol, MIW 4, and MIW 5. Lincoln was remanded at MSPT with no bail.
