On October 22, 2026, at 3:17 pm, the Alaska State Troopers received a report of a disturbance in a residence, in the Settlers Bay area of Wasilla. Troopers responded and following an investigation arrested 33-year-old Wasilla resident Joseph Kalis and remanded him to Mat-Su Pretrial on one count of Assault in the 3rd Degree.
