On 10/23/2026 at approximately 0315 hours, AST conducted a traffic stop on a red Chevy pickup for an equipment violation near Skyline Drive in Soldotna. The driver, 23 YOA Atlee Turner, displayed signs of intoxication and admitted to being in possession of a handgun. Turner failed field sobriety test and was placed under arrest for DUI. Turner later provided a breath sample for the Data Master machine with a BrAc of 0.139 . Turner was remanded without incident to Wildwood pretrial on charges of DUI and MIW.
