AK20020762Location: SterlingType: Burglary
On 3/25/2019 at approximately 0823 hours, AST responded to a report suspicious individuals at an address with occupants known to be out of town. AST located the individuals driving away from the residence, with one of the callers following them. Investigation showed David Lusardi, 26, of Kasilof, and Zackary Moore, 30, of Sterling, had burglarized a residence in the neighborhood. They were both arrested and remanded to Wildwood Pretrial on charges of Burglary 1, Burglary 2, Theft 2, Criminal Mischief 3, and Possession of Burglary Tools. Additionally, Lusardi was charged with one count of Driving With License Revoked.

AK20020689Location: WasillaType: Theft/Shoplifting, False Information, Warrant Arrest
On 3/24/20, at approximately 1600 hours, AST responded to the 3 Bears store on Pittman for a reported shoplifter that was resisting being detained by loss prevention. AST contacted the female suspect who was eventually identified as Elisa Johnson, 32 yoa of Wasilla. Johnson initially provided AST a false identity. Once identified it was discovered Johnson had 3 outstanding arrest warrants trespassing, MICS 5 and providing false information. Johnson was arrested for her warrants and providing a false name, as well as for theft. Once in the patrol vehicle, Johnson began to repeatedly inform arresting Troopers she had recently tested positive for COVID-19. AST personnel immediately began required notification and decontamination procedures. Johnson retracted her claim after a short time however AST continued steps to verify and ultimately did confirm she made a false claim. Johnson was eventually remanded to Mat-Su pre-trial on her warrants and additional charges.
AST wishes to clearly remind the public that making a false claim of infection of a highly communicable disease or virus is Terroristic Threatening in the Second Degree - A class C Felony punishable by imprisonment up to 5 years and up to a $50,000 fine. A person who knowingly "sends or delivers" (think intentional coughing, sneezing, or spitting) a bacteriological or biological substance and as a result, places a person in reasonable fear of physical injury to any person and/or causes evacuation of a building or public place or business, and/or causes serious public inconvenience (think taking police officers and vehicles out of service for quarantine or decontamination) commits the crime of Terroristic Threatening in the First Degree - A Class B Felony punishable by up to 10 years imprisonment and a $100,000 fine.

AK20020690Location: WasillaType: Assault-IV Domestic Violence
On 03/24/20 at approximately 1635 hrs. Wasilla AST received a report of a disturbance at a residence in Wasilla. Investigation revealed Irvin F. Wells age 22 of Wasilla placed his mother in fear of imminent physical injury. Wells was placed under arrest for Assault in the Fourth Degree-DV, and transported to Matsu Pretrial where he was remanded without bail.

AK20020492Location: WasillaType: Assault 4
On 03/23/2020 at approximately 1849 hours, AST responded to a report of a disturbance at a residence on Gold Mint Dr. in Wasilla. Investigation revealed that Ariel Tackett, age 20 of Wasilla, assaulted her boyfriend. Tackett was arrested for Assault IV-DV and transported to Mat-Su Pretrial Facility where she was remanded without bail.

AK20020269Location: WasillaType: Crim Mis 5 (DV), Contributing to Minor Delinquency
On 03/23/2020 at approximately 0048 hours, Alaska State Troopers responded to a report of a disturbance at a residence on Tweed Ct. in Wasilla. Investigation revealed Brenton Hinkle, age 23 of Wasilla, damaged items in the residence and gave alcohol to a minor. Brenton was arrested for Criminal Mischief V-DV and Contributing to the Delinquency of a Minor. Brenton transported to Mat-Su Pretrial Facility where he was remanded without bail.

On 03/22/2020 at approximately 2052 hours, Alaska State Troopers Received a report of a burglary on Maud Road. The case is currently under investigation. Anyone with information is encouraged to contact the Alaska State Troopers at 745-2131 or Crime Stoppers at 745-3333.

AK20020246Location: PalmerType: DWLS
On 03/22/2020 at approximately 2022 hours, Alaska State Troopers conducted a traffic stop on a black SUV for a moving violation at mile 14 of the Old Glenn Hwy. Investigation revealed Rebecca Rathke, age 35 of Wasilla, was Driving While License is Suspended. Rebecca was issued a misdemeanor citation for Driving with a Suspended License. The vehicle was released to a third party.

AK20020773Location: WasillaType: Assault 4, DV
On 3/25/20 at about 0903 hrs, AST received a report of an assault at the Trunk Park-n-Ride parking lot. An investigation revealed that John Wilson (age 44) of Wasilla had assaulted his girlfriend and then he left the area. Wilson was located at a residence on Beech Way and he was arrested for Assault in the 4th Degree and lodged at Mat-Su Pretrial. Alcohol was not a factor in this incident.

AK20020574Location: KodiakType: Theft
On 3/24/2020 the Alaska State Troopers received a report of a theft from the Bayside West Business Park located at 4701 W. Rezanof Drive in Kodiak. The location is also known as Bayside Storage and is located across from Parkside Drive / Bayside Fire Department. Investigation revealed that several boats and vehicles that are parked in the storage lot had been gone through and items were stolen. The incident occurred on Friday evening and into Saturday morning. (3/20/20-3/21/20) A suspect vehicle has been identified and the investigation continues. Anyone that has a boat, RV, or vehicle parked at this lot is asked to check their vehicles for items missing or damage. Please contact the Kodiak Troopers with information on missing or damaged items.

On 3/25/20 Dallas DAVIS, 60 YO of Vacaville California, was issued a citation by the Alaska Wildlife Troopers, Kodiak Post, for failure to submit his 2019 DG479 goat permit hunt. Bail is set at $120.00 in the Kodiak Courts.
