AK21083146Location: Sterling AKType: Outstanding Warrant X3
On 9-13-2021 at 1945 hours, Soldotna AST, along with AST K-9 Unit attempted a warrant service at a residence located in Sterling. The subject was identified as Seth A. Fulton, 32 YOA of Sterling. Fulton currently has two outstanding warrants for his arrest totaling the amount of $5,000 and a third warrant for his arrest with no bail. The warrants stem from the original charges of Parole Violation, Probation Violation, burglary, and assault 3rd degree. Fulton was located in a trailer on the property. Fulton complied and walked out of the trailer and he was taken into custody without further incident.

AK21106999Location: Cooper LandingType: UXO
On 9/14/2021, a road construction crew working near mile 58 of the Sterling Highway unearthed a partial stick of unexploded dynamite with a blasting cap inserted. AST requested assistance from the FBI, who disposed of the ordnance on-site with a controlled detonation. The dynamite is believed to have been in place since the original construction of the Sterling Highway.

AK21107058Location: PalmerType: Terroristic Threatening 2
Final update: On 09/14/2021, after continued investigation the suspect’s identity is still unconfirmed. Federal law enforcement officials have declined to pursue federal criminal charges.
On 09/13/2021 at approximately 0950 hours, Alaska State Troopers responded to a report of a suspicious package delivered to a local medical facility in Palmer. Investigation revealed the package contained a flyer with religious statements and a QR code, along with three vials of suspected biohazardous material. FBI EOD technicians responded and verified the contents of the vials to be human waste and biological fluids. The package and its contents were disposed of per biohazard waste removal standards. The suspect is believed be a woman in Florida and appears to be suffering from mental health related issues. Outside agencies were contacted for assistance, however she has not been positively identified. No injuries were reported associated with this incident.

On 09/14/2021 at approximately 1326 hours, Alaska State Troopers received a report of a lost individual in need of assistance. Investigation revealed, Bill Dickens, age 75 of Willow, was out hunting with a group of friends when he had broken off and lost his orientation. An Alaska Wildlife Trooper along with HELO2 were able to assist in the safe rescue of Dickens.

AK21106577Location: FairbanksType: Home Invasion/Shooting
On 09/12/2021 at 0325 hours, Alaska State Troopers in Fairbanks were notified that a home intruder who attempted to rob a residence in North Pole had been shot by the homeowner. AST arrived on scene and learned that an adult male had been shot and was still alive. The intruder was transported to a local hospital, before being airlifted to a hospital in Anchorage. There were no injuries reported by the homeowner. Charges are pending upon release from the hospital and further investigation by Troopers.

AK21106763Location: HealyType: Death Investigation
On 09/12/2021 at approximately 1525 hours, Alaska State Troopers in Fairbanks were notified of a death in a remote hunting camp approximately 30 miles south/southeast of Fairbanks. Department of Public Safety Helo-3 with AST from Fairbanks responded to the scene. Investigation revealed that William Rushing, age 57 of California, had passed away at the remote hunting camp. Upon further investigation, Rushing’s death was not suspicious in nature and he had known ongoing health conditions that were a factor in his death. Rushing’s remains are being transported to the State Medical Examiner's Office in Anchorage. Next of Kin has been notified.

On 9/14/21 Alvin BUI, 34 YO of Houston, Texas and Andrew BUI, 42 YO of Toms River, New Jersey, were both issued citations for sport fishing on the Buskin River without a current 2021 sport fishing license. Bail is set at $220.00 for each individual in the Kodiak Courts.

AK21107412Location: WasillaType: Warrant Arrest
On 9-14-21, at approximately 1929 hours, Alaska State Troopers conducted a traffic stop for a moving violation near mile 10.5 of Knik Goose Bay Road in Wasilla. Investigation revealed the operator of the vehicle, Brittany Demientieff, age 27 of Wasilla, had a warrant for her arrest. Demientieff was arrested and remanded to Mat-Su Pretrial. Bail was set at $200.00 cash.
