On November 3, 2026, at 1:55 pm, the Alaska State Troopers received a report of a deceased person in Homer, later identified as 43-year-old Homer resident Ka Mulky. An investigation revealed no signs of foul play. The State Medical Examiner's Office was contacted, and next of kin have been notified.

On 11-04-2026 at approximately 1038 hours, AST responded to a residence in Palmer for a report of an active domestic disturbance. Investigation revealed that Kevin Hodsdon (Age 30 Male) committed the crimes of Assault in the Second Degree, Assault in the Third Degree, Assault in the Fourth Degree x 2, Assault in the Presence of a Child x 2, and Criminal Mischief in the Fourth Degree. He was arrested and transported to MSPT where he was remanded for the above crimes.

On November 3, 2026, Alaska State Troopers responded to Alder Drive for a burglary investigation. During the investigation, Andrew Mahoney and Kelsey Walker were found unlawfully occupying a cabin after damaging the door to gain entry. Troopers observed evidence consistent with drug use inside the residence. Both individuals were arrested for Burglary and transported to Mat-Su Pretrial, where they were remanded without bail.

On 11/3/26 at 2056 hours, AST conducted a traffic stop on a 2005 Ford Focus for equipment violations on Meadowood near Big Lake rd. Investigation revealed the passenger William Murray III age 23, of Big Lake had two outstanding warrants out for his arrest for Assault 2, Assault 3, Assault 4 and leaving the scene of an accident. Murray was arrested, transported and remanded to MSPT in Palmer where his bail was set at $3,500.

On 11/4/26 at approximately 0151 hours, AST conducted a traffic stop on a 2003 Ford Focus for speeding on Pittman near Sunrise. Investigation revealed the driver Tolumane Sasiu age 34, of Big Lake had an outstanding warrant out for his arrest for DWLR. He was arrested, transported and remanded to MSPT in Palmer where his bail was set at $250.

On 11/04/2026, AST Dispatch received a report of a disturbance in Kodiak. Troopers responded, and an investigation revealed that Karen Santiago, aged 57, of Kodiak, had assaulted a household member. Karen was arrested and remanded to the Kodiak jail on charges of DV assault.

On November 4, 2026, AST responded to a report of domestic violence in the area of Kale Lane. Investigation revealed that an assault took place. The suspect was taken into custody and remanded to the Fairbanks Correctional Facility without incident. The investigation is ongoing.

On 11/3/26, at 1643 hours, a Tok based VSPO took a report of a disturbance that occurred in Tanacross. A motorist was contacted by a pet owner who became upset with the driver and threaten the vehicle owner with property damage to his vehicle.
The complainant requested this incident be documented. AST would like to reminded pet owners to follow set animal ordinance set forth by the tribal council.

On 11/4/26, at 1030 hours, the Dot Lake Tribal Police Officer made contact with Brandon Rice age 22 of Dot Lake. Rice was arrested without incident and was transported to the Tok Court. Rice was arraigned for two court case pertaining on the original charge of criminal trespass in the second degree. Rice was placed on conditions of release and placed into O.R, status. Rice was transported back to Dot Lake by the TPO.

On November 4, 2026, at approximately 1:38 p.m., Alaska State Troopers responded to a reported single-vehicle collision on the Steese Expressway. Investigation determined that 21-year-old Xander Martinez of Fairbanks was traveling southbound on the Steese Expressway when he lost control of his vehicle. The vehicle struck the concrete median barrier on the left side of the roadway before crossing and coming to rest against the guardrail on the right side of the roadway. Xander was not injured in the collision. The vehicle sustained damage and was removed from the roadway by a tow service.

On 10/30/2026 at 2139 hours the Alaska State Troopers received a report of trespassing at a Healy gas station. The suspect was identified as Rachel Hancock, age 26 from Healy. AST was not able to locate Rachel on the day of the incident. On 11/04/2026 AST contacted Rachel and issued her a misdemeanor summons for Criminal Trespassing 2nd.
