  On 03/07/2026 at approximately 1504 hours, AST received a report of a break-in near Big Lake. AST responded, and the following investigation revealed that Brandi Slover, 42 YOA, had broken into a cabin, spent the night, and left. Brandi was located and arrested for violating her conditions of release. She was charged with Criminal Trespass 1 and Criminal Mischief 4. She was transported to MSPT, where she was remanded and held on $250.00 bail.

  Type: Snowmachine Collision - Fatality

  Dispatch Text:

  On March 6, 2026, at 10:55 pm,  Alaska State Troopers received a report of a snowmachine accident in Elim. The report stated that Anna Aukon, age 55, of Elim, was riding in a sled down a road when she was struck by a snowmachine also traveling on the road. Life saving measure were attempted without success. A young child was also injured in the collision and was medevac’d from Elim. The next of kin was present on scene, and the body is being sent to the State Medical Examiner's Office. Alaska State Troopers from Nome responded on March 7 to conduct an investigation. The investigation is ongoing.

  On 3/6/2026 at approximately 2254 hours, the Fairbanks Alaska State Troopers responded to a residence on Glasglow Dr. in Fairbanks for a report of property damage.  Horace Tinsley, age 36, was arrested for Criminal Mischief 5, and remanded to FCC.

  On 03/07/2026, Troopers initiated a traffic stop on a vehicle traveling northbound on Easy St, due to it's headlights being off during conditions of low-light. The driver, identified as William Dozette, age 37 of Fairbanks, was arrested on his outstanding warrant, and charged with additional charges of false information due to providing a false name to Troopers, and driving while license revoked.
