On 11/11/2025, Alaska State Troopers in Anchor Point received a report of a student disclosing that her sibling had physically assaulted her on multiple occasions. Subsequent investigation led to the arrest of the juvenile sibling for 2 counts of assault in the 4th degree DV. Their parents were notified, and the juvenile was transported to Kenai Peninsula Youth Facility in Kenai without issue.

On November 16, 2025, at approximately 0451 hours, Alaska State Troopers responded to a welfare check at a residence near mile 104.5 of the Richardson Highway. The complainant reported that Cheyenne Ewan was possibly engaging in self-harm and had earlier assaulted her and another family member.
Upon contact, Troopers observed significant property damage inside the residence, including a broken television, spilled food, and blue chemical stains on bedding, electrical outlets, and cookware. Cheyenne admitted to intentionally causing the damage out of anger.
She exhibited signs of alcohol consumption and provided a breath sample of 0.06 BrAC. Cheyenne is currently on conditions of release that prohibit alcohol use.
Cheyenne was arrested and charged with Criminal Mischief in the Fifth Degree (Domestic Violence) and Violation of Conditions of Release. She was remanded to Mat-Su Pretrial without incident.

On 11/15/2025 at approximately 1849 hours, AST received a call of a weapons offense in the area of Soapstone Dr. Investigation revealed that Sylas Kochuten had a active felony Arrest Warrant and was a convicted felony in possession of a concealable firearm. A female in the vehicle with Sylas was identified as Kirsten Mullin was also placed under arrest for 2 active Misdemeanor warrants.
Both Sylas and Kirsten were arrested and remanded to Mat-Su Pretrial. Sylas was held without bail and Kirsten was held on $1000 cash bail.
Investigstion is still on going

Location: UnalakleetType: DV/AssaultDispatch Text:
On October 15, 2025, Alaska State Troopers in Unalakleet arrested Bruce Eakon Sr., age 47, of Unalakleet, for DV assault and criminal mischief. While placing him in custody, he attempted to escape the patrol car, causing minor injuries to a trooper in the process. Once secured in the vehicle, he repeatedly kicked the door, causing damage to the door and window bars. Additional troopers traveled to Unalakleet to transport Eakon to the Anvil Mountain Correctional Center. While in the air, Eakon again became uncooperative and caused minor injuries to another trooper. Eakon was charged with multiple felony assault charges, criminal mischief charges, resisting arrest, and DV in the presence of a minor.
