  On 2/1/2026 at around 1600 hours, Alaska State Troopers in Anchor Point responded to Caribou Lake for a report of a theft of firewood. While enroute, AST passed the suspect vehicle which still had stolen firewood in the back. AST conducted a traffic stop on the vehicle and subsequent investigation determined the firewood was stolen by Abby Gilliam (31 years old of Anchor Point) and Anela Kerns (25 years old of Anchor Point). Both parties were issued misdemeanor summons to appear in Homer court for Theft in the 4th degree and released.

  On February 1st, 2026 at approximately 2050 hours, the Alaska State Troopers (AST) were on routine patrol when a truck was seen near mile 148 of the Sterling Highway with one working headlight and one working taillight. AST initiated a traffic stop and contacted the truck at Resch Road and Sterling Highway. Subsequent investigation led to the driver, Ann Graham, age 23 of Homer, being issued a summons for Driving While License was Canceled, as well as a citation for taillight and headlight requirements and a citation for not having proof of insurance.

  AST has been investigating several uses of a stolen credit card. AST located Troy Davis who was a match for the suspect. Other collaborating evidence was also discovered. Davis was booked into Matsu Pretrial for 4 counts of Felony Fraudulent Use of an Access Device. Davis also had two warrants for Misdemeanor Assault and Failure to Comply.

  AST has been investigating Ronald Dementiff for several counts of Violation of Conditions of Release. Dementiff was located in Anchorage by AST and, with the assistance of Anchorage Police, taken into custody. Dementiff was booked into Anchorage Pretrial.

  On February 1, 2026, at approximately 10:42 a.m., Alaska State Troopers responded to a report of a burglary in progress at a residence near Fairbanks. Troopers located and detained Nathan Booda who later admitted to unlawfully entering the residence and stealing property, including a red cart and bags. The Nathan was arrested and charged with Burglary in the Second Degree, Criminal Trespass in the First Degree, and Theft in the Third Degree.
