On April 11, 2026, at approximately 2220 hours, Fairbanks AST responded to Goldhill Rd on the report of a vehicle stuck in the ditch and the male occupant appearing to be intoxicated. Upon the trooper's contact, the investigation led to the arrest of Brien Kirby (39) for the counts of DUI and Refusal to Submit to a chemical test. On 4/12/2026 AST responded to the report of a disturbance on Auburn Drive in Fairbanks. An investigation revealed Daniel Deacon, age 37 of Fairbanks, arrived at the residence and operated a vehicle while under the influence of alcohol. Daniel was arrested and remanded on the charges of DUI and DWLR.

On 4/12/2026 Troopers received a report of a man slumped over the steering wheel un-responsive at the parking lot of the Justa-Store. Troopers arrived on scene and made contact with the vehicle. The driver was responsive and claimed to be watching a YouTube under the dashboard. He was then identified as Arthur Roberts. Arthur had an active warrant for his arrest. Arthur complied with all commands and was remanded to Fairbanks Correctional Center without further incident.

On April 12, 2026, at approximately 13:18 hours, AST responded to a reported disturbance at 1855 Van Horn Road in Fairbanks. It was reported that there was a male and female in the parking lot screaming at one another. It was found that the female party was intoxicated. She admitted to driving her vehicle to the establishment after consuming an alcoholic beverage. The female was taken into custody and remanded at the Fairbanks Correctional Facility on charges of driving under the influence and violation of conditions of release.
