On 12/3/2025 at approximately 2201 hours, the Alaska State Troopers received a REDDI report of a drunk driver speeding back and forth on W Blondell Drive in Wasilla. Troopers located the driver, identified as Cody Russell (28YOA) of Wasilla, on foot nearby his vehicle. Cody admitted to drinking before driving and having a handgun in his vehicle while he was driving. Cody was placed under arrest for DUI and misconduct involving weapons in the 4th degree and remanded at Mat-Su Pretrial where he was held per the bail schedule.

On December 4th, 2025, at approximately midnight, AST responded to a report of a disturbance in Wasilla. AST responded, and the investigation revealed that 25-year-old Caleb Doty, of Wasilla, had committed DV Criminal Mischief in the Fifth Degree, DV Assault in the Fourth Degree, and Provided False Information to a police officer. He was remanded to Mat-Su Pretrial on the above charges. He was held without bail.

On 12/03/2025 AST received a 911 call reporting a disturbance from Valerie Tickett, age 40, of Wasilla. AST investigated and determined there was no disturbance. Valerie was given a disorderly conduct warning and left. Later that night, Valerie called 911 4 additional times, each time not reporting an emergency. Valerie was arrested for misuse of 911, and disorderly conduct.Valerie was remanded at MSPT and held without bail.

On 12/04/2025 at approximately 0320 hours, Alaska State Troopers responded to a reported burglary in progress. While responding, Troopers learned Aden Hershman, age 19 of Wasilla, had been acting unusually toward his roommates and left the residence. Troopers then contacted Hershman on the road near the residence. Following the contact, Hershman was arrested for two counts of Assault in the third degree on Troopers and one count of false reporting for calling in a fictitious burglary to lure Troopers to the area. Hershman was remanded to Mat-Su Pretrial without bail.

UPDATE 12/4: On December 3, 2025, the Alaska State Troopers and US Marshals located Darius Morgan hiding at a residence in Fairbanks after receiving a tip. Morgan was arrested and remanded to Fairbanks Correctional Center on his outstanding arrest warrants. Two residents of the house, 19-year-old Fairbanks resident Maya Kokrine and 21-year-old Fairbanks resident Matthew Wintter, were both remanded to Fairbanks Correctional Center on charges of Hindering Prosecution for their efforts to hide Morgan. Morgan's arrest was due to the significant efforts of the Fairbanks and Palmer State Trooper Criminal Suppression Units, ABI Investigators from across the state, and the US Marshals Service. Thank you to everyone who provided information that aided our initial investigation and helped locate and arrest Morgan.
ORIGINAL: The Alaska State Troopers in Fairbanks are actively looking for 18-year-old North Pole resident Darius Morgan. Morgan was last seen in the Fairbanks area early this morning. He has an active felony warrant for his arrest and is a person of interest in a violent crime that occurred in Fairbanks.
If you see Morgan, do not approach him. Immediately call 911.
