On 4/24/2025, at approximately 2020 hours, AST conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle near Nash Road for a registration violation. The driver, identified as Troy Messer, age 41 of Seward, was determined to have an outstanding bench warrant for failure to appear for arraignment. Messer was arrested without incident and remanded to Spring Creek Correctional Center where he was held on $100 cash bail.

On April 24, 2025 at approximately 1926 hours, AST conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle reported to have been stealing wood from a Houston property. The driver, Bethany Ferguson, was found have stolen the truck and taken it as her own after it was left unattended on the side of Hollywood Road. Ferguson was arrested and remanded to Mat Su Pre-Trial on one count of First Degree Vehicle Theft.

On April 24, 2025, at approximately 1027 hours, the Alaska State Troopers responded to the area of Easy St for a motor vehicle collision. The causing driver was identified as Kelly Hoffman. Investigation revealed that Kelly was driving under the influence. Kelly was transported to the Fairbanks AST Post where she refused a chemical test. Kelly was remanded to the Fairbanks Correctional Center on one count of DUI and one count of Refusal to submit to a chemical test.

On 4/24/25, at 1248 hours, on duty Troopers and VPSO heard a disturbance behind Tok Post. Investigation determined Connie Sanford age 63 of Tok was in violation of her court order probation. Ms. Sanford was in violation of her probation by being under the influence of alcohol. Ms. Sanford submitted to a PBT which reveal she tested positive for alcohol. A summons was requested in this matter.

On April 10, 2025, at approximately 2304 hours, Fairbanks AST responded to the area of Love Road for a report of a disturbance. In concert with Juvenile Probation, AST developed probable cause for a juvenile probation violation.
