AST received a tip about Wanless Huntsman, age 54 of Soldotna, was staying at a residence in Nikiski. Huntsman had a warrant for a probation violation, original MIW3. Troopers located Huntsman at the residence and he was arrested without incident. Huntsman was held on $10,000 bail at Wildwood Pretrial.

On 04/30/2026 at approximately 1407 hours Glennallen AST contacted Michael Voyles, age 73 of Copper Center. Voyles is a convicted sex offender and failed to register with the Sex Offender Registry as required under AS 12.63.010. Voyles is also on Parole for Sexual Abuse of a Minor in the 1st Degree and two counts of Sexual Abuse of a Minor in the 2nd Degree. Voyles was placed under arrest for a Parol violation and charged with Failure to Register as a Sex Offender in the 2nd Degree. Voyles was transported to Glennallen AST post to be held until arraignment.

On 04/29/2026 at approximately 2344 hours, AST conducted a traffic stop in the Big Lake area. The following investigation revealed that Nicholas Bailey, 40 YOA, was driving while under the influence of alcohol. Nicholas was arrested and transported to MSPT, where he was remanded and held on $1,000.00 bail.

On 04-30-26 at approximately 1249 hours, AST received a report of an active disturbance in Palmer. AST responded to the scene and contacted Mathieu Dubeau (38 YOA Male). Investigation revealed that Mathieu committed the crime of Criminal Mischief in the Third Degree by destroying over $750 of property belonging to his parents. Mathieu was arrested and remanded on the above charge at MSPT, where he is being held without bail.

On 04/30/2026, the Alaska State Troopers Fairbanks Dispatch received a report requesting a welfare check in the North Pole area. Shortly after the welfare check was initiated, dispatch received a 911 hang-up call from a number registered to the same address.
Troopers responded to the residence, and the investigation revealed a domestic assault had occurred. Michael Guzman was arrested for Assault in the Fourth Degree and Misconduct Involving a Controlled Substance. He was remanded to Fairbanks Correctional Center without incident.
