On 04/22/2026, at approximately 1427 hours, Alaska State Troopers responded to a REDDI (Report Every Dangerous Driver Immediately) near mile 50 of the Sterling Highway. It was reported a white 1991 Chevrolet Blazer was driving into oncoming traffic, varying speeds and off the side of the road. The driver, identified as Itzel Nunez Mora, age 28, of Kenai, was contacted at Wildman's Store. Investigation revealed Nunez Mora had been driving the vehicle while impaired and under the influence of a controlled substance. She was arrested for DUI and remanded at Wildwood Pretrial Facility.

On April 21st, 2026, Fairbanks AST came into contact with Kat Morgan, who had an outstanding warrant out of Palmer. Kat was arrested and remanded to FCC without incident.

On April 21, 2026 at approximately 1740 hours AST received a REDDI report in the area of Delta Junction. AST later located a vehicle with a similar vehicle description and driving behavior. AST initiated a traffic stop, resulting in a vehicle pursuit following the the driver failing to stop at the direction of a peace officer. The pursuit eventually ended and the driver, identified as Jacob Isaac, age 38, was arrested for DUI and Felony Eluding. Following Datamaster processing, he was additionally charged with Refusual to Submit to a Chemical Test. He was eventually transported to FCC on those charges.

On 04/21/2026, Troopers conducted a traffic stop after observing Leann Zacharof run a stop sign. She showed signs of impairment, including the odor of alcohol and poor performance on SFSTs. A DataMaster test later showed a breath alcohol concentration of .139. Leann was arrested and charged with Driving Under the Influence. She was remanded to FCC.

On April 22, 2026 at about 10:32 A.M., Alaska State Troopers and Village Public Safety Officers responded to a residence in Tok for a probation check at the request of adult probation. Subsequent investigation resulted in a search warrant service and the arrest of Shane Champagne, age 42 of Tok, for one count each of MIW 3, MICS 4, and Probation Violation. On 04/08/2026, the Fairbanks Criminal Suppression Unit (CSU) was notified that Darin Nathaniel of Fairbanks had absconded from probation and could not be located. The Fairbanks District Court had issued an arrest warrant for him. Nathaniel was on parole/probation for Murder in the Second Degree. On 4/22/2026 after an extensive investigation, CSU members located Nathaniel at a residence in Nenana.
