On 5/19/2025, at approximaltey 1034 hours, the Alaska State Troopers received a report of an ATV theft in the area of Begich Drive in Wasilla. Investigation revealed that James Oliveri, age 36 of Wasilla, stole the ATV from the property. WPD located the stolen ATV at a residence on Aspen Ave in Wasilla. At approximaltey 1545 hours, AST and WPD located James in the parking lot near AIH in Wasilla. James was arrested for Theft II, Vehicle Theft II, Criminal Trespass I and VCOR x4. James also had an outstanding arrest warrant for the original crime of Theft IV. James was transported to Matsu Pretrial where he was remanded and held without bail.

On 05/19/2025 at approximately 1500 hours, AST served a warrant for failure to appear on a Crystal Calice. Crystal was transported to Mat-Su Pretrial where she is being held on a 250$ cash bail.

On 05/19/2025 at approximately 1134 hours, AST received a report of a disturbance near Champion Road. Investigation revealed that Luke Kimpton, Age 21, of Wasilla had caused damage to a home that belonged to a family member. Upon further investigation it was revealed that Luke had a warrant. Luke was placed under arrest for Criminal Mischief, and his warrant.
Luke was transported to Mat-Su pretrial and held without bail.

On 5/19/25 at approximately 1940 hours, Mat Su Troopers received a report of a collision near Foothills and Clarion Ave in Wasilla. Troopers responded and investigation revealed the driver of a 2001 blue Chevy S10 intentionally crashed into a 1987 Mazda pickup placing the driver of the Mazda in fear. The driver was of the Chevy S 10 was identified as Gavin Kopplin age 25, of Wasilla. He was arrested for Assault 3 DV and transported to MSPT where he was held without bail.

On May 19th, 2025, Troopers responded to a report of a shoplifting at the Speedway gas station, located at the corner of College Rd. and University Ave. I located two individuals who matched the description provided by the employee. A routine check of NCIC/APSIN revealed that Floyd Verny had an extraditable warrant out of Washington state. He was remanded to the FCC as a fugitive from Justice.

On 05/19/2025 at approximately 0013 hours, Alaska State Troopers and Fairbanks University Police responded to a disturbance in the area of Iniakuk Avenue, in Fairbanks. Mogan Poulsen, age 32, of Fairbanks, was arrested for assaulting two police officers. Morgan was remanded into custody at Fairbanks Correctional Center.
