On 09/06/2025 at 1749 hours dispatch took a call regarding an RV striking a moose near mile marker 64 of the Richardson Highway. No occupants were injured, and the moose was deceased. The RV occupants got transportation to Glennallen, and a charity took possession of the moose.

On 09/07/2025 at approximately 2037 hours, Alaska State Troopers pulled over a vehicle on Halvorson Rd. driven by Brandon Damitz (51M) of Fairbanks. Following investigation, Brandon was found to be in violation of multiple sections of his parole conditions. Additionally, Brandon was found in possession of 1g. of a substance believed to be cocaine and brass knuckles (a prohibited weapon). Brandon was remanded to Fairbanks Correctional Center for multiple probation violations, MIW4, and MICS5 without further incident.

On September 04, at approximately 1636 hours, 911 received a report of a deceased individual who had been found at his home on Goldhill Rd. in Fairbanks. Following an investigation, the State Medical Examiner requested an exam of the deceased to determine cause of death. The decedents next of kin have been notified.

On September 7, 2025, at approximately 1412 hours, the Alaska State Troopers received a report of a search and rescue incident near mile marker 1369 on the Alaska Highway. The report indicated that a 16-year-old male had sustained a broken ankle while hunting with his family.
Alaska State Troopers responded to the scene, assisted by the Rural Deltana Volunteer Fire Department and the Fort Greely Fire Department. The hunting party was successfully located, and a Trooper helicopter was deployed to facilitate the air evacuation of the injured teen to medical personnel staged on the highway.
The individual exhibited early signs of shock but remained in generally good spirits. He was subsequently transported to Fairbanks Memorial Hospital (FMH) for further evaluation and treatment.

On 7 Sept 2025 at 1754 hrs, AST received a report of a deceased male near Millie Ct in North Pole. After unsuccessful life-saving measures, EMS pronounced James Sparks deceased. His death appeared to be from natural causes. Next of kin have been notified, and the State Medical Examiner released the body to the family.
